The fitting is ever so slightly on the tight side, but that just means it won't fall out easily. And you have to press so hard to get it in all the way otherwise there's no connection recognized by the computer, and then you have to pull extremely hard to get it out and that's where I'm truly afraid I'll harm my camera. It's basically such a tight fit that I leave it in the camera at all times - which obviously is a huge inconvenience.
